14th August 2008 - Parking Spot is very happy to announce that Vancouver publication Pyramid Power will be in Parking Spot at 8 East Cordova Street in Gastown for the next year to promote and develop their magazine and related activities. Out of the space they will operate a one-wall art gallery and an international magazine shop. The space will also be used for the magazine's operational and publishing activities. They will be regularly holding art shows and other events out of the space. 

Pyramid Power will be open to the public during regular hours on Saturday and Sunday from noon to 5pm starting this weekend. The next issue of the magazine is due out in September.

Parking Spot is a an organization that supports and encourages creative people with creative ideas by  making its space available to them without cost for up to one year. The idea can be commercial or not. The intent is that the space be used as a stepping stone to assist in testing or launching a project on its way to sustainability.
